It was another cold start in the 30s for much of South Mississippi. This afternoon, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s. It will be a bit breezy with a mix of sun and clouds. Tonight will be mild with lows dropping only into the upper 40s inland and low to mid 50s along the coast. Wednesday will be a little warmer with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Then, Thursday you might break a sweat with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the mid 80s. No rain is expected today or tomorrow and only slight chances on Thursday. As a frontal system approaches the area, wetter weather will roll into our region by Friday, especially late in the day into the overnight hours. Rain chances stick around through the weekend and into early next week with mild temperatures.
